# Co-owned Experience - Widget

If you want to own more of the consignee experience, you can do so with a co-owned experience.
As mentioned above, you can send the tracking invitations with your services or Bettermile can do it for you.

**As an alternative to the Bettermile front end, Bettermile offers a widget that can be implemented into your existing software (ordinary tracking website, etc.).**
It shows a similar interface to the Bettermile front end but needs to be embedded perfectly to provide a seamless user experience to the consignee.

It is based on HTML and can be embedded via iframe or Javascript SDK.

Bettermile will adapt its user interface to your needs regarding languages and colors.

## Requirements

- You must provide a website or app with a state-of-the-art user experience and design
- The consignees must frequently visit this website or app
- The widget needs a dedicated and well-suited location for integration
- Ensure consignees are landing at the desired webpage focusing on the tracking widget
- Ensure consignees engage with the widget and the host website


## Technical Integration

- Bettermile must allow-list the desired URL of the host website
- Use [Availability API](/products/tracking/apis/rtt/rtt#operation/getPublicParcelAvailability) or Webhook in your backend to understand when the parcel becomes available and to enable the widget
- Embed the Widget using iframe integration or a Javascript library
- Create a proxy under your domain forwarding calls to the [Tracking API](/products/tracking/apis/rtt/rtt#operation/getPublicParcel) and configure the Widget so that it uses the proxy
