How Do We Invite Consignees to the Live Tracking Experience?
Option A:
Bettermile Sends an Invitation via Mail
Bettermile sends the invitation to consignees to start the real-time tracking of their parcels as early as possible to guarantee the consignees the full scope of the tracking experience. If available for a parcel, the consignee will receive an email notification, sent by Bettermile in the customer's name. This email contains a link to the desired tracking frontend.

Requirements
- The basis of any tracking Integration is the successful implementation of the Data Stream
- “RTT” specific data are respected and committed to the tracking data properties and are present in the data stream (Email address, Consignee name, Consignee address, Consent to send notifications, feature allowance)
- ETAs will not be communicated in the invitations
Technical Integration
There is no requirement for any technical integration when Bettermile sends the Realtime-Tracking invitation to consignees. As stated above the only requirement is that Bettermile has all relevant information.
Bettermile is fully operating all services to send notifications to the consignees in a perfect timely manner and consistently meets important KPIs with very high numbers such as the Click-Through-Rates.
